Welcome to the 2024 Tour de Bloom

Wenatchee Valley Velo Club extends a huge welcome to the 2024 WENATCHEE VALLEY BREWING Tour de Bloom Stage Race! We hope you’ll join us, May 2-5, 2024. 


We’ve added a new, fifth stage this year for the Pro Men and Women. Another upgrade you can anticipate for the 2024 Tour de Bloom is a prize purse that is more than double any we’ve been able to offer before. And, as always, Tour de Bloom offers equal prize purses to the men’s and women’s divisions.

The 2024 edition of the Tour de Bloom includes the Ed Farrar Memorial Joe Miller Road Race presented by STIFEL, the Waterville Road Race presented by STILL PROPERTIES, a Merckx-style Time Trial presented by BUILDERS FIRST SOURCE, a Downtown Criterium presented by ROOKARD POOLS, and the Plain Road Race presented by ARLBERG SPORTS with its hilltop finish. We’ve changed a few things up to give you an even better race experience.


New this year includes some of the following incentives:
• Women 3 have a choice to race Women Elite or Women 3-4-5
• Team General Classification is extended to include Elite Women (must have 3 teams of 5 registered)
• Composite team entry in the Elite categories
• New opportunities for non-licensed riders to experience racing

General Event Details

Event Type 

Tour de Bloom is a USA Cycling Category B event sanctioned under Permit #2024 - 6590.

Individual General Classification

GC will be determine by the cumulative time minus all time bonus plus any penalties incurred.

Penalties/Rules

All USA Cycling rules apply and the Race Technical Guide will be the final ruling if required.

Result Protest

Protest must file with the Chief Referee within the following time line:

  • Placing – no later than closing of sign in for the next stage

  • Incident – no later than one hour after the finish of the stage

  • Finial Results – no later than 30 min after online posting

Classifications

The following classifications will be awarded. All Classification leaders are required to wear the appropriate jersey. All categories have an Individual General Classification. The competitor with the lowest cumulative time for all stages is the GC Leader. The General Classification includes any penalties assessed by the Race Jury minus time bonuses awarded.
